Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens — even to the best laid plans! If you need to cancel or reschedule, just send me a text or call at least 48 hours before your appointment. Less than 48 hours' notice (or a no-show) means the full session fee applies.
Running Late?
Drop me a text and I'll do my best to make it work, but your session will still end at the originally scheduled time, as I am unable to eat into the next person's time.
Your Health
Please tell me about any medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, medications, or pregnancy before we start — even if you think it's not relevant. It helps me give you the best session possible, and in some cases I may need to adjust my approach or recommend you see someone else first. Bodywork is great for your health, but it's not a substitute for medical care.
Hygiene
A fresh shower before your session is appreciated — for both our sakes! If you arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, I'll need to cancel the session on the spot, and the full fee still applies. Deep bodywork and an altered state don't mix well.
Keep It Respectful
My work is therapeutic. Full stop.
When you book a session, you're entering a professional agreement to receive bodywork in a private, one-on-one setting. That context changes everything. What some misguided individuals consider harmless flirtation becomes threatening behaviour when directed at someone you've paid to work on your body behind closed doors. I will treat it as what it is: predatory boundary testing.
I'm warm and I genuinely care about the people on my table. This should not be mistaken for permissiveness. I enjoy working in deep presence and creating a safe container, but I will have zero f*cking chill if I find my boundaries are being probed.
Sexual remarks, suggestive behaviour, or requests for anything beyond therapeutic bodywork constitute harassment. Exploiting a professional care relationship to pursue sexual contact is a criminal offence under Swiss law — Art. 193 StGB: Ausnützung einer Notlage oder Abhängigkeit — and will be pursued accordingly.
Session ends immediately, no refund, no future bookings.
Your Privacy
Everything you share with me stays between us. I also ask that you don't take photos, videos, or recordings in the studio — let's keep it a phone-free zone while you're on the table.
Payment
I accept Twint, card, and cash. Full payment is due at the time of your session unless we've arranged otherwise. First time bookings are to be paid in advance.
Gift Vouchers
A Balsam Bodywork voucher makes a great gift for your favourite people. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, non-refundable, and can't be exchanged for cash. Please share the voucher code when booking.
Liability
By booking, you're confirming that you've been upfront about your health and that you understand the nature of the treatment. I can't be held responsible for reactions related to conditions you haven't disclosed.
